A legendary man Michael Kors, American MK Factory Outlets. Michael Kors (Karl Anderson Jr. on August 9, 1959 in Long Island, New York) is definitely one in a million when it comes to his involvement in the fashion industry. In his career, he has started his own namesake label that has reached unfathomable heights; he has taken a French design house from fabulous to famous, and has managed to raise us up some of today’s most promising designers.
The collection was successful and as it gained attention Michael Kors the confidence to set out on his own. From there, Kors joined the house of Celine, in November of 1997, as the brand’s women’s RTW director.
Two year later, he would be named Creative Director for the house (February of 1999) and achieved the position of: General Director of Women’s/ Accessories. Once his contract was fulfilled with Celine in late 2004, Michael focused his efforts in the creation of the Michael Kors Discount Outlet Store Collections.
Michael Kors is involved in numerous charitable organizations, serves as an Executive Vice President and is on the Board of, The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). He is also a contributor to Harper’s Bazaar.
One would wonder how a man like him does it? I like to think he is the Super Man of fashion, trading in the unsightly red and blue shiny (and tight) one-piece suit, with a chic pair of perfectly fitting jeans, an exquisite sports jacket and aviators.
